Termio Agent Team screen — 5 projects and 34 agents on your Mac, with working/idle counts per project

The problem

You leave your Mac.
Your agent needs you.
You don’t know.

Terminal agents are fast — but they need you in the loop. Approval requests stack up while you’re away. Progress stalls. You lose time context-switching just to check in.

Your agent is stuck waiting for approval — you’re across the room.

Did it finish? Did it error? You have no way to know without walking back.

You break your flow, unlock your Mac, check — and it was only 10% done.

Termio puts you back in the loop — from anywhere.

Built for agents that need you present.

Every feature solves a real problem with remote agent control.

Termio Panes screen — every live pane grouped by project, each naming its agent kind and current task

Cross-pane awareness, in your pocket

Every pane, one tap away

See every tmux pane running an agent on your Mac, grouped by window with live status dots. Tap to jump to the one that needs you — no SSH, no laptop.

Termio Agent Team screen — every project and its agents, with working/idle counts

Every project and agent at a glance

Your whole fleet, one screen

All your projects and the agents on each — who’s working, who’s idle, and what’s queued. Jump straight into the project that needs you.

Termio composer with several images queued in the attachment tray, ready to send to an agent

Chat, reply, and steer — from your phone

Pick up the conversation anywhere

Read what your agent is doing and reply inline. Approve a step, redirect it, or drop in a new instruction while the terminal keeps streaming live.

Termio Settings screen — pairing another Mac, agent routing, language, and theme colors

Themes, Pro, and your Macs

Make it yours

Pick a color theme, light or dark, manage your Pro subscription, and pair more than one Mac — all from Settings.

agents, one app

One app for your whole terminal toolkit

Works with every agent

Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, AGY, and CodeBuddy all run in your terminal — Termio mirrors any of them. Switch tools without switching apps.

server-side terminal storage

Your terminal contents never leave your machine

Privacy-first by design

The server never stores your conversations or terminal content. The daemon owns the SQLite on your Mac, mode 0600. The iOS cache wipes on logout, protected by Face ID.

average setup time

From zero to chatting in 60 seconds

Up and running in a minute

Install the Mac app from the .dmg and launch it — the daemon, tmux, and sane defaults are set up for you. Then pair your phone and you’re driving agents.

Agent Team

Run a team, not a terminal.

One manager, up to nine workers, mixed however you like — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, AGY, and CodeBuddy side by side on one project. This is what Termio is really for: staying in control of a team, from your phone.

  • Termio Agent Team roster — a manager and mixed-kind workers (Claude, CodeBuddy, AGY) with live context usage

One manager, a team of workers

Spin up a project with one manager and up to nine workers — any mix of Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, AGY, and CodeBuddy, each running in its own pane and reporting back to the manager.

  • Termio Board — 84 tasks, 65 verified, with each card's result summary

Every task becomes a card you can watch

Dispatch work from your phone and it shows up as a card — queued, in progress, done, or waiting on your verification. Tap an in-progress card to jump straight into the terminal and watch it happen live.

  • Start on your Mac, take over on your phone

Open a pane that's live somewhere else and Termio asks first — the other device drops to read-only, one tap hands you control, and the pane resizes to fit whichever device just took it over.

Privacy

Your terminal stays yours.

Your conversations and terminal content are never stored on our servers — they live only on your Mac. We keep just your account and the notifications we send you. The server’s job is to route, not to remember.

  • Your conversations and terminal content are never stored on our servers.

No tmux output, no pane buffers, no prompts, no agent responses. We keep just your account and the notifications we send you. The relay routes; it does not log what was sent.

  • Your daemon runs on your Mac. You control it.

Messages live in a local SQLite file, mode 0600, capped at 100 MB or 30 days. Audit log records sizes only — never bodies.

  • Logout wipes the iOS cache instantly.

Warm cache, JWT, preferences — gone the moment you log out. Account auth lives in the Keychain, protected by Face ID.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

Install the Termio Mac companion

Download the .dmg, drag the menu-bar app to Applications, and launch it. A background daemon starts automatically and streams your terminal sessions to the relay — no tmux expertise required.

Pair your iPhone

Open Termio on iPhone and log in. Tap Add Mac, then enter the 8-character code shown in the Termio menu-bar app on your Mac. Your panes appear — Face ID keeps the session key in Keychain.

Drive your agents — from anywhere

Pick a pane and steer Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, AGY, or CodeBuddy live. Send a message, watch the terminal stream, and approval cards surface automatically the moment an agent needs a decision.
